My first stay in a foreign language school has almost come to its end . I'm looking retrospectively at a really deverting, funny and memorable time .I've contracted some interesting friendships with people from other parts of the world , and am almost accustomed to the changeable british weather, now. However I'm looking foreward to go back to Switzerland , which- even if it's rather close - still differs in many points such as food-in my opinion a drastic drawback of England - , several habits, etc.- and the most important point to consider - my friends from England.
But all things considered I can draw a extremely positive balance of my stay at Queenswood and would recommend the school to possible prospective pupils.

The importance of art
Intuitionally I'd say, that art doesn't have a big impact in my life , because I neither really appreciate several kinds of paintings nor often listen to music in my freetime.
But if one examine our daily routine founded , one might realize that our everyday life
is not only inimaginable without some kind of art , but even inspired by it.
Many advertisings ,etc. are backed up with music , popular images or pictures to become more impressive and appealing for possible consumers, furthermore in many shopping centres slow music should encourage you to bay more, (unnecessary ) products.
Therefore I reason, that art , even if not noticed ,plays however a not neglectable part of our routine.

personal idols
Nowadays- Although there is a variety of popular and famous peopole- it's rather difficult to think of one idol ,whose views you fully agree with.
There might be several sports personalities , film stars or politicians ,as well ,whose (exceeding) abilities or responsibilities in their /one domain one admire, however, one mustn't forget that there probably exist differences concerning trivial issus or themes.
To quote an example: As a child I rather often listend to the song- one could refer it my favourite song - called "America",by Rammstein.Later I was told , that the band has advanced a political view ,I definitely couldn't tolerate. Therefore I had to decide whether my admiration for the band's music could outbalance the singer's "vices"or not-I have been convinced it couldn't.
On this account I,at present, can't consider any bands ,musicians... my idol.

Excursion to Windsor
Yesterday we went on an excursion to Windsor Castle and Windsor itself. At first we visited Queen Mary's dollhouse, whitch was really impressiv because of it's giantic size and it's detailed design -even if it has been expectable because of the royal familie's affluence. After having visited the other locations (several rooms, and the church), we had the opportuinty to "go shopping"in Winstor.

My first weekend and the daily routine at Queenswood
This Saturday, we went to London again and did some shopping in Oxford Street (mainly post cards). The greatest thing about the day in London was the musical "Billy Elliot" in the evening. Especially impressive was the young actor of Billy Elliot, who is already a very good ballet dancer. In the end there were even standing ovations for all the actors and dancers. After a short night (we came back late from the musical), the Sunday was mostly relaxing and doing some sports. Now we are back in our daily routine: Getting up early at 7:30, two academic lessons after breakfast, followed by this e-comm lessons and a tutor group. There we prepare our performance for the farewell evening this Friday, but this is still a secret....... After lunch and a bit freetime, we continue with individual workshops, for example film or academic writing. Two further academic lessons conclude our school day. After dinner there are the pro-football lessons , where you have got the opportunity to be taught by experts of Fc Arsenal. Those, who aren't interested in playing football and therefor didn't book those special lessons in advance, can choos between a variety of activities ,such as badminton, softball, swimming and so on. Afterwards we are always exhausted and fall straightly into bed.
